Laminated safety glass
PVB film bonds the glass layers. If a pane breaks, its fragments remain attached to the film, making this a choice for applications where safety matters.
Description
Laminated safety glass bonds multiple panes with a PVB interlayer. If the glass breaks, fragments remain attached to the film rather than separating from the panel.
Glass thickness is set for each order before Hong Phat cuts, assembles and heat-presses the panes. Send dimensions, quantities and a drawing to confirm the specification and receive a quote.
Production equipment

Production process
The glass is cut and cleaned before the panes are joined with PVB film.
- Cutting
Full-size sheets of the specified thickness are cut to size.
- Washing and drying
The glass is washed with RO water and dried with compressed air.
- Layer assembly
The panes and PVB film are aligned on a positioning table.
- Pre-pressing
Trapped air is removed before roller pressing and heating at 80°C.
- Autoclave treatment
The glass is processed at 150°C for about three hours.
- Cooling and inspection
The finished panel is evenly air-cooled, inspected and stored.
