Description
An insulated glass unit joins multiple panes around an aluminium spacer containing desiccant. Inert gas fills the cavity between the panes, with the assembly intended to improve thermal and acoustic insulation.
Hong Phat cuts the glass to order and prepares the spacer before assembly. Send panel dimensions, quantities and a drawing to confirm the specification and receive a quote.

Production process
The glass and aluminium spacer are prepared in parallel before assembly.
- Prepare the glass
4 mm or 6 mm base glass is cut to size, washed and dried.
- Prepare the spacer
The aluminium spacer is cut, filled with desiccant and coated with butyl on both sides.
- Assemble the panes
The glass panes are joined around the prepared spacer.
- Fill the cavity
Inert gas is introduced between the panes.
- Inspect and pack
The finished unit is inspected and packed.
